Santa Cruz, California-based death metal squad TORTURE HAMMER will attack the population with their cruel, eponymous second EP through Creator-Destructor Records on October 24th. After writing and releasing 2024’s Dormant Horror debut EP as a two-piece, TORTURE HAMMER vocalist Peter Pawlak and guitarist Sean Collins added drummer Max Mahmood (Iron Front, Manos De Fierro, Four Winds Away, Cuban Necktie) and bassist Amir Sahabi (Caveman). With this fully fleshed-out lineup in place, the band stepped-up their game in every way on Torture Hammer. The six tracks see the band’s attack fueled with even more aggression and antagonism, delivering their most deadly material to date. Torture Hammer was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Charles Toshio at Panda Studios in Fremont, California (Spy, Sunami, and Scowl) and completed with cover art by Martyrdoom Illustrations (200 Stab Wounds, Kruelty) The title track acts as an endless onslaught of headbanging riffs leads the listener through a hellish scene before culminating in a traumatic, mosh-inducing breakdown finale.
